Full Field Modelling

In full field modelling, the best approach is to understand the macroscopic behaviour of the field, and then drill down to reservoir level behaviour, before identifying individual wells for optimization. Once this behaviour is understood, either clusters can be selected for modelling, or the full field. Similar methods to single well modelling can be employed, and applied to several wells; inflow performance and tubing intake curves can be modelled for a multi-well system, that considers flow capacity at surface as well. Alternatively, 3D simulation software can be used to model a multi-well system, and calibrated by matching simulated full field production to actual full field production data.
