High Temperature Synthetic Retarder

DOSR™80 HT Retarder is a synthetic organic based high temperature cement retarder for use from 250°F to 350°F bottom hole circulating temperatures (BHCT). Where longer Total Thickening Times (TTT) are desired at BHCT’s greater than 350°F the cement retarder intensifier can be used in conjunction with DOSR™80.
DOSR™80 HT Retarder can be used with all cements and most common cement blends.
DOSR™ 80 concentrations are typically 20% to 40% less than other retarders often offsetting any additional cost.

DOSR™80 HT Retarder has substantial improved benefits over traditional high temperature lignosulfonate retarders by providing predictability of thickening times and a near linear response at higher BHCT’s.
DOSR™80 HT Retarder typical concentrations range from 0.2% to 1.6% by weight of cement (bwoc) and is dependent on the BHCT.
DOSR™80 HT Retarder is compatible with most common cements, cement additives and cement blends and has no known incompatibilities. As with all cement additives laboratory testing is recommended prior to use particularly when running unfamiliar blends or brands of cement.
