DosPex™ ONE Spacer Suspending Agent
Remove drilling fluids prior to cementing operations achieve long-term zonal isolation
DosPex™ ONE Spacer Suspending Agent
DosPex™ ONE Thermally Stable Cement Spacer Additive
DosPex™ ONE is a spacer viscosifier used to suspend the weighting agent and increase the viscosity and yield strength of the spacer, thus increasing its effectiveness in displacing the drilling fluid. DosPex™ ONE has little impact on the thickening time and compressive strength development of most cement slurries.
Performance Highlight
DosPex™ ONE Compatible with Wellbore Fluids
The DosPex™ ONE spacer system rheological measurements are performed at different volumetric ratios (95/5, 75/25, 5/95, 25/75, and 50/50) of cement and spacer or drilling fluid and spacer. Mixtures of the different fluids do not show significant differences in rheological parameters (Bingham plastic viscosity, yield stress) or development of high gel strengths. Rheological measurements performed at temperatures of 85 °C after conditioning in an atmospheric consistometer for 30 minutes.
| Form | Specific Gravity | Health Hazard | Flash Point, °C [°F] | pH (2% solution in water) |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Red-brown powder | 1.3 - 1.4 | None | >93 [200] | 7.5 to 9.5 |

Spacer Density Design
DosPex™ ONE is flexible in its design to obtain a density ranging from 10.5 lbm/ gal to 18 lbm/gal with common spacer concentrations range from 0 to 7.5 kg/m³;
However, densities and concentrations outside these ranges can be readily designed.
High Temperature and Salt Tolerance
DosPex™ ONE cement spacer can be added to a wide range of water sources (fresh and sea water) at temperatures up to 280 °F (138 °C).
Spacer System Formulation
DosPex™ ONE was formulated by following API testing protocol for rheology (API RP 10B-2:2024), wellbore fluid compatibility, fluid loss control, and settling stability.
