Diverting Agent

Rheology-Driven Diversion

Across Low-Contact Intervals

Since reservoir rocks are not uniformly permeable during matrix acidizing, treatment fluid tends to follow the path of least resistance, entering the most permeable parts of the formation. This leads to bypassing the less permeable portions and hinders the restoration of natural permeability across the entire zone of interest. Our Diversion techniques, thanks to their viscoelastic properties, minimize acid invasion into high-permeability zones, ensuring uniform treatment throughout the entire interval, even in shorter sections. DOSAS Chemicals' Diverting Solutions allow treatment fluids to be distributed equally throughout the entire oil-producing zone with essentially no formation damage.

Diverting Agent Chemicals

DosVesta™ diverting agent prevents acid from leaking off into enlarged rock pores by transforming it into a self-diverting fluid.

  • Smart Polymer-free gelling agent to block the growth of wormholes by temporarily forming a barrier in the wormhole.
  • Easily breaks when in contact with liquid hydrocarbons or solvent-containing fluids.
  • Thermal Stability from 200°F to 300°F under a wide range of reservoir conditions.
  • Compatible with acidizing package.

Maximizing Zone Treatment

Through a comprehensive diagnostic assessment, we ensure the most effective chemicals and techniques are chosen, enabling complete treatment of the entire zone in a single stage. By running rheology tests, combined with advanced simulations, real-time monitoring, and intelligent software, we deliver reservoir-specific solutions that ensure efficiency, precision, and operational excellence.
